Worst check in management. There was a display in the airport like every airport that shows the flight number and check in counter. My flight was at 7. 35Am it was displayed but it did not show the counter number. Since it was 6. 30Am I when directly to one of the SpiceJet counter and asked the check in staff on my flight status. She replied that the boarding is closed. I asked her why this information is not displayed in the information board she was no negligent and didnít mind to pay attention and just said that the display is not under her control and she cannot help. I asked her several time to look for alternate option she was on phone, taking calls, responding in the walkie takie but ignored my questions. I was totally fed up. This journey was my connecting flight from Paris to Chennai and then to Madurai. I reached Chennai airport at 2. 30am and was waiting for 4 hours and the reluctant lady told me that I need to take the next flight by paying a fare difference. Here there is no mistake on my side. In airports considering security reasons it may not be righ to enter as I wish and I need to listen to the announcement, sign boards and displays After all these a staff from the SpiceJet help desk office managed to do my check in and helped me to board my flight at the last minute else I would have missed my flight. I strongly recommend SpiceJet to take servere action on staff with negligent behaviour. We pay money for travel and service as well and seems there is no service at all here. I donít know the name of the lady but she was in counter 09 in the morning. This is my first experience with SpiceJet and I hate this. Will never chose this airline. I can even spend few thousands extra and opt for other airline with proper customer service.
