I traveled in Iravatha Bus - very comfortable and a good bus. The water bottle was provided in the bus. We booked the tickets online. It was a good experience. It is easy to book online if you have a computer. The journey was very comfortable. The driver and conductor are very good they have given good service.

I travelled from Bangalore to Mysore through SRS Bus travel agency. It took about two and half hours to reach Mysore. It was a semi-sleeper bus and I am happy with their job. The views were inspiring, the bus trip was very good. The journey will be better if you are travelling with your friends. The best time to visit Mysore is between September and January.

Very reasonable option to travel in terms of price, yet comfortable

Mode of Transport: Bus

I had been to Mysore on a winter morning by the KSRTC ordinary bus in November, 2014. The total journey takes approximately 3:30 hours and passes through Kengeri, Bidadi, Ramanagara, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya and Srirangapatna. The fare by ordinary bus at that point of time was Rs 135. There are also other types of KSRTC buses such as Rajahamsa, Airavata and Flybus from Kempegowda International Airport to Mysore and Vice-verse. En-route to Mysore, one can see Kokrebellur Bird Sanctuary near Maddur, KRS Dam near Srirangapatna and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. There are regular train services from Bangalore to Mysore such as Tippu Express, Chamundi Express, apart from the Shatabdi Express from Chennai to Mysore. The trains from Yeshwantpur to Mysore include Rajyarani Express and Malgudi Express.

1) Travelling by Bus makes us more comfortable and smooth.rn2) The refreshment stop in mandya / maddur makes still comfortable. rn3) Just if you are travelling from bangalore you have to go to satellite bus stand and from there you have plenty of buses to mysore which makes your journey comfortable.rnAdvice is keep your things in your possession. since there are many thieves if you are new be careful with it don't get distracted.
