Comfortable & spacious!

Nov 29, 2016
Mode of Transport: Bus

Was surprised by the space for a single sleeper bed. Very comfy and had a good sleep during the journey.
Though the TV was a bit on the louder side, they did switch it off well in time for people to have some quietness.
Arrived much earlier than the standard ETA.
Will definitely use this service again.

I have boarded the bus from Panjim and it was on time. I hopped on the bus and started watching movie on the PressPlay WiFi on the bus. It was quite a nice journey and I reached Mumbai on time. It was an overnight journey. I'll recommend everyone to book for Paulo Travels.

The journey is not much ok

This was the first time I was travelling on this route via bus. I have had previous experience using Volvo from Delhi Chandigarh which was brilliant. But this wasn't the same.

Firstly, I realized that these are old Volvo buses / engines with a refurbished frame. A brand new Volvo in its entirety (exterior + interior) is a mean machine with superior comfort.

Secondly, they mention multi axle and 4x4 stuff at the time of booking but these buses are really the Jugaad versions.

Thirdly, it will be good to know that this particular bus was the most expensive option at the time of booking so I figured it would be the best. And it was. As I realized at the time of boarding comparing with other Volvo buses relatively.

The bus was pathetically late but the driver held traffic the reason for the delay. The harrowing part was that I could not locate any co-passengers on this expensive bus from my boarding point which made me nervous. It was quite an ordeal to connect to the call centre to check on the whereabouts and they didn't have any satisfactory answers too.

Eventually the bus came and the journey was just about OK. They played a good movie. AC was ok. It didn't smell.

P. S. Some cops got onto bus near Daman (Union Territory) border looking for any booze bought and carried without permit (illicit smuggling from Goa) but it's just a trick to harass the travellers really.

Overall Experience was Nice and Comfortable

Through Taj Travel, I booked the Luxury Bus of Yoha Lakshmi Travel for 2nd of January 2016. Pick-up point was close to the Mapusa Bus Stand, just Opposite to the Petrol Pump. I was given a pick-up time 06:30PM, but bus arrives at 07:45 Pm. So we passed our time by Bhelpuri and Corn (Bhutta) and introduction with other passengers who were also waiting for their Buses. The bus has stopped at Highway Samrat Family Restaurant, in Maharashtra , Kuda, which was really good restaurant and services were quite prompt and various foods like Goan, Surmai Fish Thali, and other sea food, Indian Thali, Biryani vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Mutton and Chicken and lot of varieties, and taste and services were excellent. Proper neat and clean wash room services were available separately for ladies and gents. Bus was stopped at further three places to have a tea and to finish the natural calls. I got down at Sion, Mumbai as the staff was continuously giving the informations about the stoppages and from a Cab to my Hotel just it was morning 09:00 AM. Over all experience was nice and comfortable.

No proper facilities and avoid if possible

May 11, 2015
Mode of Transport: Bus

I travelled in M33 in May 2015 in this bus. The Bus was a A/c Sleeper bus which was supposed to provide us facilities like Blanket, Charging point.

The moment we entered the bus we realized the blankets were missing and charging points not working.

When inquired we were being told that blankets are over and charging points not working very rudely by Bust staff.

Further, the driver was abusive when a girl went to her and requested him to allow to charge from his charging point in front which was working. The entire bus was dirty, nobody from Paulo bothered.

Curtains were missing at many seats. The driver took regular breaks for smoking throughout night ensuring the bus which was already late doesn't reach on time.

If that was not enough my seat was booked twice, I had booked online and other lady had given ticket on counter. The staff fought over it for an hour, kept on asking me to show ticket countless time which was irritating. Finally the other passenger was adjusted in another bus.

I would suggest travellers to stay away from this Bus operator.
