I reached Mysore, was at home on time. I travelled by bus the seats, movie, songs, entertainment is very good. And I saw Mysore natural sceneries during the travel and it is very beautiful. Listed Mysore palace and zoo in Mysore. We should visit Mysore palace as it was the place where Mysore king used to stay. Really a royal city Mysore is. Mysore palace is the first attraction of this city. The palace is awesome, built very well, decorated very well and maintained very well. A historically rich town. The entire town is enclosed by the river Cauvery to form a river island. There are a lot of shops outside the temple where one can shop for some souvenirs.

"Beware of the trucks while driving "Posted 3 Apr

It was a long travel we enjoyed a lot. The route via Erode Sathiyamangalam is not good and it is very risky too. There are heavy vehicles (lorry) on the route and that makes little difficult to drive. On the way you can find snacks shops and restaurants where you can get down to have some tea/coffee or some snacks.
"The train was well-maintained "Posted 24 Jul

I don\'t know the train name exactly but the journey was quite good because for the first time I travelled with my parents. We enjoyed a lot while travelling because we had new set of food items like Mathur Vada, Churmuri and other Karnataka special items. The train is also comparatively better than other trains and it is somewhat maintained properly. If you are a first timer I suggest you to go by train to Mysore.
