"The aircraft was clean"

5.5/7

Travelled as: Group

Check-in was smooth and efficient. Though the flight took off on time, we had to wait a good 15 minutes after the boarding time printed on our boarding passes. It's a short flight in a propeller aircraft and there is not much to "experience". They serve sandwiches and soft drinks- no coffee or tea. The aircraft was clean and the seats as comfortable as they can be in a small plane. I sat in the first row, in the seats near the emergency exit and, therefore, had enough leg room. The inflight staff were pleasant and friendly. The checked-in luggage came out fairly soon without us having to wait.

"Always good to travel by train"

Travelled by: Train

Travelled as: Family

We always prefer to travel by train to long distances as we have kids. Kids enjoyed the train travelling. It is worth taking foods with you from home while travelling by train to avoid unnecessary stomach problem. Toilets were not that clean but not in very bad condition, only manageable. Always not safe to take food from strangers. Be careful and enjoy the travel by train.

"Royal train as it is fast and always on time"

7/7
Posted 1 Dec

Travelled by: Train

Travelled as: Family

This train is considered as royal by people taking this train as it is fast and always on time as other local trains has to wait for this to take the rail first and preference was always given to this on the rail lines along its path. The seats is very neat and comfortable. They don't have pantry inside but food can be ordered. Kodai road station which is foot of Mount Kodaikanal comes on the way. Fruits like banana and veg like carrots from the mountain were often sold at this station. Dindugal station is said to be famous for milk. Don't buy packed snacks as they may have expired.
