"The scenery is awesome and so is the road condition"Posted 9 Nov

The journey began in my Honda Amaze with my wife, my son and my mother in law. It was a nice cool morning on 16th October when we started off from Bangalore via the outer ring road and then take a left on the silk board junction to reach the AH43 and there after follow NH-7 through Hosur Krishnagiri Salem Karur Dindigul. The road has many toll points so keep some ready cash (about a 1000/- ) should do it. The scenery is awesome and so is the road condition. The road has ample amount of roadside motels with clean toilets and good choice of food so don't worry about packing up too many things for your trip. If you have 6 days with you, I would suggest: Bangalore-> Kodaikanal-> Kanyakumari and while coming back Kanyakumari -> Munnar-> Ooty->Bangalore. That would give you a super glim ...Read More

Low cost airline. Best service in that cost. That is the only service that is convenient to me. Only there is no food at airpost to have and waiting lounge is not good as ambiance concerned. Flight journey is good. No on board service no entertinement on board. Staff were cordial and with smily faces
"Bangalore to Kanyakumari is a four lane road and are very well connected"Posted 16 Nov

Bangalore to Kanyakumari is around 680km, and its four lane road all the way, and very well connected without entering the intermediate town or city in between. We had been to Madurai and Rameshwaram, so deviated towards NH-43 and East Coast Road (ECR). These road are also very well maintained, but on ECR you will not find much food spots, so better to pack down some stuffs on the way when you start from major town. But NH-7 has decent highway hotel on its way.
"The train can be compared to a low budget flight "Posted 9 Jul

The train was very well maintained in terms of cleanliness, hygiene, appearance, quality of food, punctuality, service, comfort etc. It seemed like one of the trains in Europe. There is newspaper available and food is included, you could compare it to one of the low budget flights. It is the best way to get to Vapi, Daman or Silvassa as it is fast and punctual.
"Smooth road and no traffic at night "Posted 23 Dec

We went to Kanyakumari with our own Ford Ikon Car and we left Bangalore at around 2:00 am on Diwali night and reached around 10 am. Road was smooth and at night there was not much off traffic so driving was comfortable. We got disappointed by paying toll fee and we paid 1300 rupees toll enroute. But felt really happy to see the sight view while travelling in the morning when we were close to KK. Mountains, wind mills, cloud natural beauty of this location is very attractive. I will recommend you to plan it by car so that you can manage your time and enjoy more!
