Its a 4 lane road journey in my own car Hyundai I-20. No stress, road was excellent all the way from Bangalore to Hyderabad. Toll booth cost around 450 Rs. There are plenty of fuel stations and also shops plus ATM's near the fuel stations. I had my son along with my wife in the car so we played loud music during the drive. Stopped at a dabha for lunch. There is greenery everywhere around the pit-stops. I covered total distance of around 550 km in 11 hours. Follow this route Hebbal > Chicballapur > Ananthapur > Kurnool > Jedcharla > Hyderabad.

One of the few seamless and trouble free travel that the entire family has had was this one. We arrived at the airport in Bengaluru a bit ahead of time and had a refreshing experience before boarding the aircraft. Highlight was the experience of take off and landing which were flawless and devoid of jerks. Inflight services were apt for the short flight and crew were courteous.

After a rudimentary research I finally decided to get to Hyderabad on a Bus. KSRTC has long been rewarded and known as one of the best services in the country and they didn't disappoint. The Bus I took was the Airavat Club Class (buses with multi-axle). The travel begun right on time at 9 am and within few minutes we were out on the highways. Plush seats and interiors were pretty decent. Add to that a good dose movie was all needed to gas up a good journey. But that was not the best part! About 1 pm the driver stopped for lunch in a small town in Andhra. He took us to a modest and shaky dhaba called 'New Bharat'. At first I was taken back but I was super hungry and had to eat. I ordered Chicken masala and paratha. It was by far one of the best dhaba foods I could ever have and it was aw ...Read More
"Bus drive was comfortable with great reclining seat, good AC and TV unit"Posted 17 Feb

AC Volvo bus by SRS travels is a very good with comfortable push back seats. AC system was working in good condition and maintained proper descent temperature. TV unit and sound system was very good and played a movie with mild sound so that travellers could ignore if wishing to sleep. Boarding point I choose was Anand Rao Circle near Majestic, Bangalore which was very convenient but heavy traffic zone, so I would request to consider the extra time to reach there. Departure timings for the bus was well-maintained by the staff which controlled the traffic. Destination drop had some confusion and I was requested to get into another bus to be dropped at Kachiguda Hyderabad, which could have been handled better by communicating in advance.

The travels are good and you must book a non ac in winter to see the beauty. There is a TV also. So the journey will not be boring. If you book a ac bus its the best choice because in summer its very hot. And A/C buses are more cleaner than a non A/C. Enjoy The travel. Thank you for reading my story. Hope you enjoyed it :)
