Recently I visited Goa with family, to be precise in January. We had driven along the National Highway connecting Bengaluru to Goa. Day 1- We left Bengaluru at 06:00 hr and travelled via Tumkur- Kadur- Birur- Arsikere- Tarikere-Bhadravati- Shimoga- Sagar. We visited the famous Jog Falls and halted at Honnavar in an IB. Day 2-We went to Gokarna Beach at around 5 am to witness sunrise. The beach was neat and not at all crowded. We also went to Murudeshwar where a giant statue of Lord Shiva is along the waterfront. Thereafter we left for Goa after lunch. It took just 3 hr to reach Goa and the drive was rather wonderful. We halted at a Government accommodation while at Goa on the outskirts of Panaji. Day 3-7- Was spent in visiting the sublime beaches to include—Vagator, Calngue ,Anj ...Read More

The bus was A/C Sleeper bus with comfortable seats. The bus was a bit late when it arrived at the pickup point but it managed to get the destination point on time. The bus only stopped once for refreshment. There was pillow available on every seat, but the traveller need to pay extra money for the blanket. Also, there was no TV for entertainment, but you can connect your mobile to the bus's WIFI to watch movies and listen music. Overall, the bus was OK.

Yes this was the trip we were craving for. Goa is actually a very different place in india. We were travelling from bangalore and we chose seabird because it was a high rated and punctual bus. We boarded at around 6pm and it was on the 29th of December 2014. We were 3 and we had a upper tier seat. The a/c was very comfortable and was not too chilly. The bus had charging points but they did not work. It had a wifi called goodbox. You can only access whatsapp from it. As we were travelling we had a bad experience as the bus had to stop because of some technical issues. But the bus did make up and we reached goa late but it was too late. Travellers must keep in mind that the bus gives only one break for probably 30mins. And also that the charging points do not work so its better to t ...Read More

We travelled on 14th with a return ticket for 18th October. It was a pleasant journey we made a last minute bookings as the plan was instant the chances of getting a train reservations was not possible. The bus was not on time but still managed to reach the destination as discussed. The management can still look in halting the buses in a good locations. The quality of the DVD shown was pathetic.

Booked in last minute in KSRTC bus. Comfortable seats, on time departure, delayed by hour due to tyre puncture, but drive was quite pleasant. Bus service provide drinking water bottle and blanket AC vents are adjustable and they don't play movies in night sleeping hours :) The Halt station was an average but that's all you get in this Highway. Overall pleasant journey.
