Places are close by so you don\'t have to drive much

Oct 21, 2013
Mode of Transport: Train

It is a very good experience and giving feedback is very interesting. I request everyone do the same overall it was a nice experience. It was very relaxing and also since most of the important places were close by, you did not have to drive much. The bird sanctuary, Ranganathitta was worth seeing.ť Nice train and good stations.

Amazing Mysore trip by train and bus

Feb 10, 2015
Mode of Transport: Train

My onward journey was by train and the return was by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). It was my first time in both Kaveri Express and KSRTC. Felt so comfortable as the journey was air conditioned through out. The train coach I chose was 3rd class AC and I had a nice sleep throughout and wished that it could had been longer. Pantry service was good. KSRTC Bus in-charge was kind enough for helping me to reach the bus stand and waited for my arrival.

Excellent journey but difficult to board early morning

Jan 8, 2015
Mode of Transport: Train

It was the Christmas -New Year eve. We got only Tatkal tickets and journey was excellent better than expected. Very comfortable and good food. It reached Mysore on time. Lot of leg space in the seats. We took snaps on the train. Would recommend someone to travel by train. Except early morning waking up, there was no minus point with regards to our journey.

Monotonous food service

Jan 3, 2015
Mode of Transport: Train

In regular Indian railway travelling there is nothing much to expect. There was no enough place to put the luggage. Monotonous food service and toilets were not maintained properly. No provision for elderly people in the toilets. While travelling back at one point of the journey somebody threw a stone on the glass window from outside that answered the reason for all cracked glasses on the window. I was told it's a regular affair in this route which was bit scary.

Train journey to and fro

Oct 22, 2014
Mode of Transport: Train

Comfortable journey nevertheless the best. Food was ok and we just enjoyed the views. Travelling was very good with minimum time as this is a non stop service. It stops at Bangalore and then Mysore. Big glass windows to enjoye the scenic views makes the journey pleasant.
