Unforgettable journey

Feb 11, 2015
Mode of Transport: Train

When I boarded the train, I thought won't know the others passenger but I shared my seat with one of my senior. I firstly thought, it will not be a good journey. But, who knows the fate? It was an awesome journey I ever had. There were many players who played hockey. They were coming from Delhi to play in Bangalore. My seat mate started talking to me and we shared our details. The players came to our seat and shared their journeys and we were laughing together in that exuberant atmosphere. Most of them come from different diversities, religious and ethnic but we loved each other that show the joy of democracy. Last but not the least, It was a awesome journey and I will never forget that journey.

Clean toilets & supportive staff

Mode of Transport: Train

It was a nice experience to travel in Shatabdi train. I recommend travelling by Shatabdi for comfortable journey. Clean toilets and supportive staff. You would not find time to get bored in this train. Journey feels to be shorter by travelling this train.

Average food was served; catering staff asks for huge tips

Aug 7, 2014
Mode of Transport: Train

Eventhough the train was not terminating at either NZM/NDLS, it is the fastest way to reach New Delhi from Bangalore via train. There won’t be any disturbances in the train as this is an end to end train. Foods served in this train were average and at the end of journey the catering staffs ask for heavy tips. Steps should be taken by the railways to discourage this.

Good seats but dirty toilets

Jul 22, 2014
Mode of Transport: Train

It's a good experience to travel by train to New Delhi. This train is on time from Bangalore City Railway Station. In this train, the seats are also good and food is also good but the toilets are very dirty. I like Karnataka Sampark Kranti Train as train is very good and this train is always on time.

The journey took 48 hours and the food provided was not so good.

Nov 27, 2013
Mode of Transport: Train

We started our journey from Yeshwanthpur railway station in sleeper. It was around 48 hours journey and the food provided was not so good. There was a continuous supply of water, tea, soft drinks and refreshments. Its better to travel by air conditioned compartments as you have more comfort and privacy during your journey and also you will feel more secured.
