Lucknow Charbagh Railway Station (LKO)

The travel by AC first class was comfortable. The best part of the journey was crossing Gangaji in Varanasi. We enjoyed the ride, but even though the train has a pantry car, the food is very bad. My wife fall ill after having the food. Better to order food from some app

A good train. Got reservation in ac II class in this train. It leaves LKO at 17:35 arrives at NJP next day at 11:45. Neat & clean train. Good food is served. This train runs every saturday, Tuesday from NDLS. The train reached at right time. From NJP we took taxi to Gangtok 70 km.

Good train. The best thing about the train is its punctuality. It's a VIP train so very less chance of being so late and service is also good class. This train boarding time is 10:30 pm and you will reach by 6 am in the morning. But due to heavy demand for this train please book your ticket approx 20 days before.

Train was neat and clean. Train was on time. As soon as we boarded our train we saw other family sitting in front of us. We asked where are they going. They too were going to the same destination. We had a talk with them and having chat with them. We also had antakshari and played games. We were enjoying at the full swing and did not care about the time. It was night and then we ate food, shared with them. The time was passing but we were enjoying. Then we slept and as we get up. We were going to reach our destination. The journey was memorable and amazing.

We were having a nice journey as we sat in train people were boarding and a new family sit next to us. We had a nice chat to them we were having a nice time with them. We still cannot forget the sharing of food between the two families. We were enjoying the journey and having nice games and chats with everyone. We had a nice time we became familiar with them. And as the station arrived we were not ready to leave them. Our train services were not up to mark. They did not provide us the pillows. We had to ask for it several times. Toilets were not up to mark. Still the train food was alright.

Choose a nice train otherwise you will only get late and you might have to face a delay. This train is always on time and only get late a few times that to due to bad weather conditions like fog or water logging otherwise the train is always on time.
The next junction after Lucknow is very famous for its mangoes so don't forget to taste it if you're travelling in summers.
Always buy packed water and that too from a nice stations as you might get a packed drinking water bottle from local stations which is sold by villagers , don't buy that.

When I reached the station, time is 9.10pm but it comes on platform at 9. 30pm.

I have seat in C5 as I enter in the coach I found that a person is seated on my seat. I say to him to leave the seat but he said you sit on my seat. I told him that I prefer a window seat which I chose at the time of booking. He says what will you see outside at night.

I say meri marzi main chahe jo karoo. You should leave my seat. He pick his luggage and left the train. I found he has no ticket when I asked him again. So this journey is very memorable for me.

This train is not so good it becomes late.

Lucknow mail is one of the best train for lucknow. Very punctual and its services are too good. Lucknow is one of the great city in India which is very famous for "Tahzeeb". In Lucknow you got lot of variety of foods. Tunday Kababi located at Aminabad, is famous for Kababs. Pandit ji ki chaat situated near to charbagh station is too good.

Recently I had to go to Lucknow urgently so I booked a 3 AC ticket in Lucknow mail in Tatkal quota. I was lucky that I got confirmed ticket of lower birth because that is busiest train on that route. Train was departed at 10:15PM at right time. AC was working fine and toilet was also cleaned. Seat was cleaned and comfortable and PG service was quite good. A set of bedsheet, a pillow cover,Pillow,a large twin was placed at my seat before I reached to the seat,those was also cleaned and was looking hygienic. During the first one and half hour train was running quite slow,I thought it will be late so I took dinner and go to sleep but I awake around 7 AM next morning the train was already at the outer area of Lucknow Charbagh Station, it reached at right time. So my overall experience was superb with that train.

This train have only 2S & Ac class tickets. The train is super fast so runs at very right time so that anyone will enjoy this journey very much. The train arrived right time at Tundla Junction. All the good thing is many of the vendors are available for buying things to eat & to read. All the passengers are enjoying the journey. All neat & clean toilets are there.
