. A mother travelling from Mumbai to Bangalore with my two little kids 2yr old and 5 month old 1. Infant in lap charges of? 1250 not fair for domestic flight . Though we have no facilities for an infant in lap for a domestic flight, Airlines charge money which is not justified. Even an international flight charges approx. 10% of adult ticket but do offer milk, purees and bassinet for the Infant which is not the case with domestic flights 2. Not satisfied with service once landed I was the only adult travelling with kids with a check in bag. I had requested for wheelchair assistance as I needed physical assistance till the gate managing our belongings with my little kids. At the reservation counter I was told by the Indigo staff that assistance is available only for medical challenges, since you are perfectly normal we would not offer. I said I requested so I can get help till gate check-in the bag, managing my kids at security check remove kids from stroller, baby pouch put them in security check belts, travelling by bus with kids till the flight. Once I explained th staff offered help - every few moments a new staff came forward to take us till further steps. It was going OK for onward journey. I requested inflight attendants to provide me assistance once landed as well . On return journey I had a ground service staff after request, helped me load stroller in bus and end of assistance. I had my fair of struggles to pick my luggage from the delayed flight with infant in kangaroo pouch and other kid in stroller in one hand and a roll on luggage at other hand till I was out of gate I had no any staff member from Airlines.
