The Jet Airways staff on ground and in the air is very friendly and helpful. We only had one really bad experience, when we arrived in Mumbai (flight 9W-249 from Kathmandu on January 7). I am travelling with my husband, who is 78 and can not walk long distances, and also gets confused at times, so for us the wheel chair assistance is essential (and normally very effective). The lady-staff at the exit of the plane said we hadn't requested a wheel chair and so she could not help us. I had requested wheel chair assistance on-line and showed her the print out. But she said since we hadn't requested wheel chair assistance in Kathmandu airport, we could not get it in Mumbai since it was not marked on our boarding pass. (Now Kathmandu is a very small airport, and on the day of our departure, there were no long lines, so we decided to the procedure without wheel chair) This lady became more and more unfriendly, going so far as to scold us and said she could only assist us until Immigration. Since we were going to Goa from Mumbai that wouldn't help us, since we'd have to do the luggage transfer and then go to the gate. When I told her that, she just turned and walked away. Until now we have been always very happy with the service of Yet Airways, but we feel that this lady had no problem solving abilities and on top of it was more than unfriendly. It left us with a very bad feeling - and to cope with the situation ourselves. Luckily we found a very nice staff with a wheel chair on our own who was very helpful and delivered us at the gate. But as you can imagine it was a very stressfull situation.
