No Indigo in future, a disappointing experience

Today

I booked a 6. 20 flight to Coimbatore from Chennai and was standing in queue for check in and managed to reach the check in staff around 5. 55 and they want me screen the bag, so I went back and reached the staff again at 5. 58 and she asked me where. I told Coimbatore and she told the gates are closed. Seriously I was waiting in the queue from 5. 30. I requested her to call and check whether the gates are actually closed, is there anything to be done. I even told, since I had a rucksack, I don't even need to drop my baggage and I can run, since there are 20 mins left. But she keep telling, the gates are closed, she can't do anything. She didn't even try to call those people and check, whether there is anyone there.
Then I paid out 3200 more for the next flight. Yes more than the original price. And this time I checked in at 6. 30 and went inside and was waiting near the gate 30 mins before, and actually I was sent in 15 mins before and I saw people getting in till the last minute. I seriously don't understand, If people can come till the last minute in 9. 45 flight, why I was not allowed in 6. 20 flight. I paid 3200 more, and sat in airport for 3 hours doing nothing. I seriously have a thought, that they have sold my tickets to someone else. I don't know, from when Indigo has become so money oriented.
Such a disappointing experience. Never ever in future, I will be taking Indigo again.

I will never recommend indigo to anyone. Poor serv

Hopeless service by Indigo.
Flights are delayed.
Counter people are not co-operative. Only want money for everything.
Baggage is not safe, my luggage lock was broken and missed.
Food is very bad.
Ultimately hopeless service

Unhappy customer experience

There are couple of things which I want to highlight. Probably I will take it up with next level of escalation.
1. I booked flight wrongly from Delhi to Chennai round trip instead of Chennai to Delhi round trip and I tried to change it in next 10 minutes. There is no provision to correct such kind of mistake. Still I paid the penalty of 6k and then booked the other way round trip.
You guys atleast should consider to get that there is a mistake done and we are contacting you then and there but there is no way that I can correct it.
2. The flight from Delhi to Chennai delayed by 4 hours and my mom was travelling. She is a sugar patient and also has some BP problem which enforces her to take food on time but food wasn't provided throughout the 4 hours waiting time. This is not accepted at all and the steward was not giving proper response at all.
Once my mom made a video call and then requested the steward on the same, its not only that they didn't answer proper but they also mentioned that they shouldn't be called until flight take off.
I did see the video of customers being handled in a bad way but now I am getting the same experience.

Not happy with MMT

Today

Indigo flight is OK .. Flight is delayed both onward and return journey and it is not intimated to me as I have booked through MMT. Decided not to buy tickets through MMT.

V rude counter staff, no response to my gm and smile

V rude ground staff, made me wonder if Indigo is training them to harass the customers. I was 1 hour 5 min before the flight time, but the lady kept threatening me that I was going to miss my flight and v rudely pushed the suitcases at my daughters feet ... Just because I wanted to take the excess weight in my hand luggage. Between 2 passengers, there was an excess weight of 2. 8 kgs (as I could not carry a handbag due to lower back pain) so I agreed to pay for 2 kgs, but the staff tells me that he had billed for 3 kgs and if I did not pay, I would miss my flight. When I objected, they made me pay for 2 kgs but did not give me a receipt. It was the most horrible and insulting experience for me, a diabetic and hyper tension patient. They checked our tickets and ID cards again and again, just to pass time and then tried to force me to pay due to shortage of time.

Worse baggage handling

On November when I travelled with this flight. My baggage got damaged but I ignored ... On this Christmas eve ... I travelled on the same ... And again they damaged my baggage.

Worst experience

Today

Apart from flight getting delayed due to Delhi fog, there were two major issues. First one, despite flight delay of 5 hrs, one major goof up happened in the flite was one air hostess misplaced the demo life jacket which the entire crew was searching for 30 min which further delayed the flite.
Secondly, there hs to be promptness in baggage handling too, the baggage at belt no 3 arrived at exactly 41 min after the flite landed which is too much a time knowing the fact that people are tired and a little promptness must have been shown by INDIGO, but there was only one lady sitting at baggage complaint desk surrounded by 10/15 irate customers, there was no one to listen to complaints, this hs to be reported to dgca also.

Delay due to non-availability of pilot

Today

Indigo flight was initially delayed by almost an hour and passengers were informed, but the real problem was that the flight got further delayed for take-off due to non-availability of the Pilot. The kept informing the passengers that the pilot would arrive in 5 mins, and it took almost an hour for him to arrive. But the fair part was that the crew provided snacks to all the passengers in meantime.

On time departure & arrival—-Indigo is the best.

Today

The cabin was really cold ... Even with a sweater, it was difficult for me to manage ... If travelling on Indigo, I would need to have my winter clothing on, it seems. Flight attendants are a bit curt at times too.

Horrible, will never recommend this airways ...

Today

Even after web check in, 1 hour queue for baggage drop and the manager was very rude. My husband was having fever and asked for an emergency blanket and the stupid air hostess refused. Disgusting services, cold food, delayed take off of around 30 minutes.
