Day 1. I headed to the government bus stand and booked a ticket of 157 to Ooty. It was 1:30pm. It took me 5hours to reach there. Enroute I enjoyed watch wild animals at Bandipur National Park, being junglee !. Then the terrain hilly areas begun and it was really adrenaline pumping . I went through Madumulai Forest zone and reached Ooty on 9pm it was very cold there I started shivering at 12°c . Then I booked a budgeted room for 800 for 2 nights. I took rest there Day2. Early morning I got up at 8am and the window view was worth watching. I got surprised and astonished too. As if I was in a Paradise, then after having my free breakfast at hotel I headed to bus stand nearby and booked a Ooty - Coonoor all sightseeing for rs 200 in a 22 seater Swaraj Mazda Bus . Then the journey begun . It started with lake view and boating there. I didn't go for it so I enjoyed the landscape view there . Then after 20 minutes we started to move towards Coonoor for Dolphin nose point . Enroute I saw the great places where most of Indian cinema got their locations. Such as Chennai express, Global 3, Mane pyar kiye, and the famous music Chale Chaiyan Chayian Finally reaching Coonoor Dolphin Nose point I got surprised to see the clouds hitting me, and the place is a sure visit for all Reading this article of mine . Then after spending some time their it was 1pm almost so lunch time, then we started heading towards the highest peak of south India the Dodabetta Peak (7, 600ft) the terrain was very difficult to pass by so if you are planning for a trip then drive safely! All the time because driving is the main part of this Nilgiri Trip !. Lastly we headed for botanical garden the peace place of Ooty and I sat in garden for 10 min and it started raining, the views were again worth watching! After the rainfall stopped I went back to hotel. Day 3. It was the last day of my trip . After having my breakfast at hotel I started moving for buying some good quality Chocolate and Tea as its very cheap and genuine their in Nilgiris. So I suggest all to go for it . Then I started my return journey from bus stand to Mysore.

Ooty is a beautiful hill station for a family trip. I wanted to go and relax, while also visiting some the most prominent tourist spots where my 3 year old daughter would have fun We thoroughly enjoyed the views from Tulip Valley View Resort. The local cab driver suggested us to go to Mudulamai National Park, Doddabetta Peak, Ooty Lake (for boating), Thread Garden, Thunder World and Rose Garden All the places were wonderful I would recommend all travelers to Ooty to definitely visit these places. If accompanied by children, visit the Elephant feeding Camp opposite the Mudumalai Forest Safari centre. The Elephant starts at 5. 30pm, and goes on till 6pm. My daughter was ecstatic to see elephants, peacocks, monkeys, wild boars so upclose We really enjoyed boating in the Ooty Lake The Thunder World was a great surprise. While it is pretty similar to any amuzement park in the bigger cities, we were happy to enjoy with our daughter here. The Visual Illusion section of Thunder World draws special attention, and enjoyed by kids.
