Indian cultural bonanza!

By far, one of the cleanest cities of India. Well connected with rest of the cities by air, rail and roads. Roads especially, are the smoothest in the country. I drove down from Mumbai and witnessed it firsthand.
City is full of palaces and monuments, well preserved and well maintained condition. City's zoo is a treat to visit and see animals, birds and reptiles in their natural habitat. For those spiritually inclined, their are many temples to visit and pray.
Mysore palace is simply out of this world experience. It's lit electrically late in the evenings and the view is spectacular.
Tipu Sultans palace (in ruins), Vrindavan garden, Chamundi Hill Nandi, art gallery are must visit spots.
Need 3 days to cover important spots. Food is excellent, hygienic and competitively priced; so is transport.

Excellent Palace

This palace is attract visitors due to its art and culture. The extraordinary art inside the palace mostly attract people and the outside total palace lightening which is only on sunday 07. 00pm onwards is also the another attractive thing in the palace.
Local horse ride is another thing to give you pleasure but be aware of the auto and local people who told about the mysuru silk saree b'coz those are too costly.
I can't advice not to go those places but buy by your own choice and there are lots of silk saree shops you can compare and buy. Nice city but tricky people.
