Bus arrived 15 minutes late to the boarding point. No curtains for the sleeper booked. Response is poor when I asked about it. Bus was halted for so long time to find unreserved passengers for the seats available. Ticket checker boarded on the bus in the middle. They took 35 minutes to check the tickets and quarreling in the driver's cabin with the assistance.
This bus was not halted for refreshment through out the trip. He is not a human at all. I requested the driver multiple time to halt for toilet needs, he doesn't stopped anywhere till Pattukottai. I choose Mayiladurai as destination. Because Pattukottai not listed in the destination field in this web-page.
I will never choose or recommend Universal bus operator in future.
I traveled in Universal Travels from Karaikal to Chennai. It was a bad travel experience. No punctuality. My bus timing is 9. 40 Pm but they came at 11. 00 Pm. I didn't get any information regarding the delay. I called to the given number in the ticket but no response. Finally I called to TicketGoose customer care and got the travel head office number then called them but no response.
I got the spare the bus with worst condition. Please don't include this kind of travels in TicketGoose and stop your reputations.
Departure was very late, unwanted clubbing of bus and travel towards a unrelated route. Not the same bus that was been booked. Pondy to Karaikal some othe bus picked on the way. Waited a long time in Karaikkal and changed to the bus that was been booked. Inappropriate travel to Velankanni instead of directly going to Madurai.
Was supposed to reach by 12 Am according to the time mentioned while booking, but reached Madurai at 4 Am. Worst travel ever booked in TicketGoose.
I booked a bus ticket from Kumbakonam to Coimbatore on 14/06/2015 10:00 Pm. My PNR number is UNI1235686. Bus came to the pick-up point by 10:30 Pm. And within an hour of travel, bus got broke down near Ayyampettai as there was some problem with gear switching. The bus has been stopped for more than two hours to have this failure rectified. They made temporary fix and drove the bus up to Thanjavur. We have been told this would need a mechanic to fix this problem and there was no alternate bus facility to carry on the journey. We have stranded at Thanjavur and I decided to return back to my home.
Travelled in Universal Travels from Thanjavur, boarding time at 11. 45 Pm, but till 2. 15 Pm vehicle did not come to the boarding point. Then another vehicle from Kumbakonam from there, dropped has in Trichy. After 3. 30 Am bus came to Trichy and we reached at morning 8 Am to Coimbatore, very worst service.
I was asked to change seat and said okay with a condition if I get window seat. They said after sometime, I will be getting that. When asked driver about that he started behave worst and saying in travel we can't change. I got seat which is in worst condition. Asked the passenger how he is sitting in my seat and I got to know that agency take money four seat and gave three seats. For you people get more profit, why I should suffer.
I booked the ticket from Kariakal to Chennai boarding at 11:20. The bus arrived at 12:00 pm. My seat number was 17 and 18. But when the bus arrived, I realized the seat was assigned to a different passenger. I later understood that the bus I booked got cancelled and at midnight I was waiting on the bus stop for a bus that was never supposed to arrive. I later had to beg the other bus driver to accommodate me and fortunately there were couple of seats vacant. Those seats where in the last row with no push back.
I have booked ticket to my native place through ticketgoose at 10:30 pm but they did not pick me up at boarding point (from Thiruvanmiyur). Then I called the Universal Travels head office to give a complaint but no response. Very very worst travel experience in my life. Very worst punctuality. 10:30 pm bus will reach the boarding point at 11:30 pm.
This is the one private service, we will get to travel to Velankanni to Nagercoil. I booked a A/C Volvo since we have travelled with my kid. The travel was so peaceful and the bus staff are also friendly. They were also punctual at both the places. We were booked for a single day trip however we did not feel much tired.
You can choose any type of bus as condition of buses were excellent. In this travels especially lease carry a blanket as they do not provide blanket although being A/C service. Please dont get tensed as this bus will not arrive at right time there will be sure delay of minimum 30 mins always lol I dunno why it happens but I have been travelled more time here but none of the time bus arrived at right time.
