A nice journey

May 16, 2016

Hii, I am Kapil. I belong to Jodhpur. My city is a very good, clean, cool city. But now I am sharing my Jaipur visit experience, I had gone with my friends.

We decided in Sep.10 2015 to go to Jaipur. We chose this time because after the rain, temperature is average (Not Hot & not Cold), and rain also stopped. Everywhere GREENERY could be seen after rain.

We are total 11 friends (boys & girls). On 09-09-2015 night we booked ours seats in Rajasthan roadways A/C bus. It s comfortable to travel. In morning we reached approx at 6 am.

After that we went near to Rajputana house. It was minimum chargeable hotel. We took 5 room there. After bath and lunch we decided to travel.

This city is also known as choti kashi/Heritage city/Pink City. There are world famous market Johri Bazar, where total work of gold & stones & diamond. It's Asia's Largest Market. More than 40 lakhs people were living here. Big city which having heritage havelis. Now first we booked our personal cab. Then we went to Zoo. After zoo we went to zorri bazar. It's approx 800 meter long market both side very rush there, very heavy traffic there.

Here our female friends did shopping. They made mehndi on her's hands. Its classical design. After that we went to famous Govind Dev ji Mandir. Its really a beautiful place. Here we sat for some time then took parshad and came out from there. Then we went to world famous hawa mahal. There are 363 windows. It looks awesome. After that we went to kala hanuman ji mandir. Its small mandir but large amount people comes there. Now going to evening, then we decided to return to the hotel. At the time of dinner we order rajasthani special food.

Again next day we were ready to visit some more places. Now first going to Jalmahal. A little mahal in between water in large area. Today's weather is also good. Little cloudy. We took lot of pics there.

After that we went to to Nahargarh, its was a Castle. It's a big Mahal (hindi word). There are different old times WEAPON, but in good conditions. It's very heavy weapons. Here we spent 3 hours. Then out here we had lunch. Then we went to jaigarh. It's near to Nahargarh. There are world largest heavy Gun (Tope). The guide said that 100 elephant is required to move this gun in that time. It's approx 8 meter long.

We went to Amir mahal. Here there's a Devi mandir which is know as Aamer Ki Mata ka mandir. This place was also beautiful. Many film shooting was done here. Akbar-Jodha, and other many film is shooted here. There are many photography points to take photos. After that we went to Ganesh mandir. Then iskon mandir, both places were near.

After the lot of enjoyment, we returned to our hotel. We decided to return to Jodhpur again.

In the night we again booked Rajasthan Roadways A/C bus. And reached Jodhpur in morning.

Its very fun-filled journey for all of us. We enjoyed a lot.

Thank you.

A journey through good roads

May 11, 2016

From Ajmer to Jaipur. There is no fun part as the complete journey is national highway 8. The traffic of both cities is annoying but we have destination fixed that is virasat heritage restaurant and its virasat sheesh mahal. Roads are good at both sides and the toll taxes wastes time in journey.

Comfortable journey

Apr 27, 2016

These AC buses are recent addition on this route. The charges are approximately double but is ok when you get a good service in the hot hot summer. The timings are also very comfortable to travel to Jaipur. They also provide 500 ml water bottle for each passenger.

Good highway with nice view

Sep 8, 2015

We took VOLVO service by RSRTC. Bus was comfortable and staff was cooperative. Bus came at time and drop point was quite near to hotel. View was quite decent. We missed charging points in bus. NH8 is very good and we enjoyed the travel. Travellers should carry extra power bank.

Journey hours are extended due to traffic jam

Aug 25, 2015

I keep on travelling frequently on Jaipur-Delhi route. However, before the construction work on the Highway started it used to take only 5 hours in reaching Delhi in a Volvo. Since the work has started, the travel time has gone up to 7 hours due to frequent traffic jams. However, the bus quality is very good. Volvo is available from Jaipur Sindhi Camp Bus Stop every 1 hour. But still, if travelling to Delhi, go for the early morning double decker express or the evening Shatabdi Express. It costs less then Volvo and saves a lot of time.

Aug 25, 2015

We have visited Dehradhun from Jaipur by bus. From Dehradhun we took taxi for Mussoorie, taxi can be easily available from ISBT. The condition of the bus was good. It was A/c sleeper bus. We reached Dehradun on scheduled time. From Roorkie to Dehradhun the roads were not in good conditions.

Average bus service and road quality is good

May 19, 2015

Rajasthan Govt buses are average type, there are lots of passengers travel daily in this. The fare is not so high, the buses is good and takes time to reach at midway they stop for some food and get passengers fresh. thus have fun and travel time will easily be spend in midway. the sellers sell some item, some good and tasty foods. Now there is route-way so less time is taken and more easily the passengers travel, the road quality is good of the new one in spite of old.
