Morning ride through Sahyadri ...

We took 7am Kolhapur - Ganapatipule ST. Started well in time. The highlight of the journey is climbing down Amba Ghat between Amba to Sakharpa. You keep turning left and right every few meters going down towards sea. Well, thats your destination. There are couple of Ghats between Sakharpa and Pali, too. Hatkhamba to Ratnagiri and back and then to Ganapatipule is more like going from Hill Station to Desert. Once you reach Ganapatipule, you are back at hill station, although you are once more near sea. :-)
The bus reaches Ganapatipule at 12noon rather than 2pm as listed in online schedule.

Comfortable journey

We got good bus from Parel stand and bus was very good. Being daytime, it was my sitting journey, so I got good seat. Being senior citizen, I got concession too. I paid only 156/- or so, for 1 way. It goes up to Nashik Mahamarg, from where I took auto to reach hotel. Roads are very good, and our driver also was good and not rash. Bus halted for tea at 1 hotel for 20 mins. Conductor was helpful in giving good seat to me. On way, there is no much to see, but nice to see the good road ahead.

Impressed with new Scannia bus in Fleet

Impressed with new Scannia bus in Fleet - nice & sturdy bus as compared to volvo. Seats are comfortable. Suspension is superb. Arrangement for announcement in bus makes it easier for new passanger. On time & safe journey by. Bus driver should voluntarily give nespaper & water bottle instead of passange demanding for it. Anyway we can understand burden on him. LCD provided in bus is never used by, don't know reason why?

Best way from bombay to Pune and back!

Jun 2, 2016

The most punctual bus service is surprisingly the government service called Shivneri. However, it's slightly expensive but the buses always leave on time as they do not wait for the buses to get full unlike private operators. Also stops are short and quick.

Jan 27, 2016

The buses begin at Dadar. The bus was clean and tidy and we were provided with water bottles. Though the in city speed limits were slow, later it was quite good. They halted once for a break. Overall the trip was fine. We reached the destination on time.

A smooth ride

Dec 25, 2015

We reached Nasik by train and from there took State bus MSRTC. There were simple reason to take the bus of state service as we wanted to explore the locality through this. Local people local language and the smell of Maharashtra can be gained using basic services only. The ride was very soothing, the route through the way was not pleasant but the ride must say was good as I had a wonderful accompany.

Bus stop for some time for snack there through the highway you can start feeling the devotees feeling.

Change in bus type will be good for travelling

Jul 20, 2015

I think MSRTC should use different buses from there regular buses. They can use specially made buses of big windows or buses of glass, where visitors can view the beauty of Mahabaleshwar.

It was a comfortable journey with fix number of people

Jul 20, 2015

Bus was in good condition. Driver and ticket checker were polite and cooperative. Bus driver was driving bus safely with reasonable speed and driving sense. Bus was punctual while boarding as well as while dropping us at the destination. Halt was at okay place but it was in accordance with majority of commuters, i.e., economic class.
