A good experience
Nov 24, 2015
Everyone in US advised us against travelling by bus from Houston to SA. Since this was a last minute plan, the air tickets were expensive and I couldn't rent a car. We were with our 3 year old, so colleagues and friends were apprehensive. They warned us of druggies and homeless guys!
We though, what the heck, lets try it. It can't be worse that a roadways bus, we used when were in college in India!
But we were pleasantly surprised. From surprisingly clean Bus Station in Houston to the helpful staff, it was a smooth 3:15 hrs journey.
While returning from SA, we did experience a couple of druggies at SA Greyhound Station, but they were harmless, and the journey were quite uneventful.
The restrooms at Houston were clean, but the ones at SA were out of order.

Roads in good condition with beautiful scenic beauty
Jul 7, 2015We took the early morning bus from Calgary. It was a two hours journey with beautiful scenic beauty. Bus are okay type, not excellent. The beauty on the way was awesome. The rocky mountain range was too good. It took halt at Banff, but could not see anything in interior of it.
