The bus was brilliantly cleaned, seats were perfect. And the driver and conductor was too good and kind in talking. My journey to jodhpur became memorable by such experience. I suggest you guys to try the same. And yes dont forget to get some discounts while booking. The scenario outside the bus of Royal Rajasthan was a eye catching site. I was totally stucked at the moment.
I was not booked any bus due to official tour and just go to Bus Stop and after office work go to the hotel. And, maximum distance I covered by sleeping and after sometime I reached my destination. Then I will go to my work and no fantasy in this.
Be sure you bargain with them, as they charge different price from different customer, as I was new, we pay 1200 Rs per ticket and people who were common or regular of bus service to Jammu were travelling in just 350 Rs per ticket, that was horrible as we come to know later.
I visited Chandigarh and Manali last year. Manali is fully blessed by nature and the famous old Manu temple and the other temples are on the hill tops. Enjoyed the natural beauty of Manali in all respects. The return journey to Chandigarh was through NH 21 passing through Kulu, Pandoh and Mandy. River Beas is flowing by the side of the NH and it is more or less silent up to 'AUT'. Thereafter the river becomes more violent, roaring and fierce due to the joining of other two rivers from the other side. From AUT to Pandoh the NH is zigzag. The road was constructed by breaking giant rocks and leveling earth of the lengthy sky scraper hills. The road is very narrow feasible only for two vehicles. The left side of the NH is Beas river flowing at an approximate deep of 2000 feet. There are no trees, big rocks or heavy obstacles to block if a vehicle happens to slip. The entire sloppy/steeply area is covered with grass and I being at the left side of the vehicle viewed the nook and corner of the flowing deep river which was breathtaking. There is insufficient barricade. Amidst the journey the back of the vehicle happened to hit the barricade and I thought the vehicle may fall into the river and this may be the last journey. And this terrible stage continued for a distance of more than 6 km. Fortunately God protected me from all the fears. So those who are coming via Mandy must be more careful.
It was a good travel for us. On the way we did see some of the best tourist places. The car ride was also pretty awesome and we had a good time. There are many restaurants on the way too. And you can get petrol pumps as well. So overall, you can have a great journey.
