      Comfortable journey

      Feb 28, 2016
      Mode of Transport: Bus

Journey was very comfortable but the only problem we faced is the behavior of Bus driver. He was very arrogant fellow and in case of emergency situation also he was coming forward for help. Otherwise seats were good and bus has charging points which never works.

Worth going with govt Bus, instead of pvt travels

Great scenes - & scenarios during Ghat sections. Driver was very experienced.

Stopped buses at right places, bus conductor was helpful. Overall bus experience was good but I don't know whether they have every day trips or not?

So that's why I am saying worth giving a try with Govt transports.

      Not up to the mark

We were very excited for our travel to Munnar. However, the long journey took a toll on us wasting half of our day. We expected a good AC volvo bus. But is was a ordinary semi-sleeper non- AC bus and it took hell lot of time to reach Munnar. All our excitement had gone by the time we reach Munnar. However, the places in the Munnar rejuvenated us back.

      A good journey

It's a beautiful journey from Bangalore to Munnar via Udumalpet. Its really awesome journey from Udumalpet to Munnar approx 85kms. This 85km travel is inside dense forest with very narrow curvy road. You may get chance to see some deer etc. Carry a plastic carry bag because you may feel vomiting during this journey. And the scenery when you are about to reach Munnar is great. Full of greenery with all tea estates on both left and right sides. You feel really cool when you about to reach munnar. Natural greenery natural fresh cool air. All that you need !!!!!
