Comfortable buses from National Travels

Nov 18, 2015
Mode of Transport: Bus

I have traveled with National Travels many times now from Bangalore to Mumbai and vice versa. With the affordable price and good conditions of Bus, I chose National Travels again and again. I would recommend it to others also. Timings were good and the Bus staff is cooperative.

Had a bad experience and hoping for better experience

May 25, 2015
Mode of Transport: Bus

The bus drivers as well as the conductor's behaviour is highly unacceptable. Being a girl trying to take an advantage. Please look into it. Hoping for the better travel experience next time. Chose the drivers and conductor's carefully. VRL TRAVELS IS SICK PATHETIC.

It was really a comfortable journey with the VRL to Mumbai and it was very fast booked through Holidayiq. Thank you so much. The bus type was AC sleeper coach with good facility. The journey was also good with the VRL. Some advice to traveller is book your tickets through HolidayIq only, itís really a good experience to have a journey like this.

It\'s a long ride but the road makes it a lot more comfortable

Nov 30, 2013
Mode of Transport: Bus

It's a long ride, close to 16 hours, but the road makes it a lot more comfortable. Beautiful road, minimum road bumps, beautiful view, sufficient road halts to make things easier. The bus was in very good conditions, you have better buses available but if you can, it's better to catch a train instead. Mumbai is a huge place, so to get to destination after the bus stops might take sometime.

Brand new bus with good entertainment

Oct 4, 2014
Mode of Transport: Bus

I had a very nice experience of the bus journey from Mumbai to Bengaluru by multi-axle Volvo/Mercedes (not sure) bus of Sharma Travels. Maybe I was fortunate, because the bus was brand new and the cabin was super-clean, super-fresh, the AC functioning properly, and of course the windows were sealed because of air-conditioning, so the cabin was very quiet. No creaking and squeaking sounds. A blanket, water bottle and newspaper were provided to the passengers.

For me the bus journey started at about 2 pm from Vashi in Navi Mumbai, the bus took a halt at Pune for lunch and later on somewhere near Sholapur for dinner, after which it was non-stop till Bengaluru.

The entertainment system was good, with 2 LCD screens, one at the start and one in the middle of the cabinet. I was travelling alone, so it kept me well-entertained.

Unfortunately, the experience of travelling back to Mumbai was a totally opposite from what is described above, but I'll reserve that for the next post.
