This was the best route and I suggested that best timing to travel from Varanasi to Gaya start in morning and total travel time just 5 to 6 hours. Travel from Gaya to Varanasi by Air India

Mar 5, 2015
Mode of Transport: Flight

It was a short flight (about half an hour). I booked my ticket on reward points. However, it was not reflecting on Air India's system hence they took almost 45 minutes to issue me the boarding pass which was making me quite nervous. However, finally I got the ticket but as the flight got delayed, I missed the Evening Arati on Ganges in Varanasi. Recommend people to take an earlier flight.
