"TV volume was too loud at night"

Travelled as: Couple

I travelled from Pune to Mumbai and back in multi-axle semi-sleeper. My overall experience was pretty good. Before boarding the bus, navigator sent SMS informing of any delays in pick-up to ensure a hassle free departure. The seats were comfortable and had a sufficiently good recline angle. The only complaint I have is the on-board movie. The screen was too bright and the volume too loud. They kept screening in a loop even when most people were asleep. I had to complain to get them to switch it off.

Express Highway is in a really good shape and gives your entire trip a different experience. I like driving my own car and the beautiful roads make it even better. Lonavla is on the way and the ghats are very beautiful and I took some snaps on the way. Had a vada pav and chai at Khopoli. Truly fun driving to Mumbai.

I took the Pune-Mumbai express way, we stopped at Lonavala for sightseeing, bought some chikki\'s at A1, continued our journey to Mumbai, you get to see lot of small water falls on the way, stopped at food plaza on the express way, lot of variety of options for lunch/dinner like McD, dominos, chat items etc. I have used my mobile navigation app to reach Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.

This train hold significant importance in the history of Indian Railways for always being on time, and yes it does live up to it's name. This train is always on time! Hope this will be the case for all trains in India one day! Coming to the train, I travelled by AC chair car, the fare for Rs.330/- Total comfort! It is definitely worth the premium, especially if you are traveling in summer months. Pantry is decent. So next time you travel to Mumbai from Pune, this train is highly recommended!

"Travel time increases due to heavy traffic "

It is always good to go to Mumbai via expressway but nowadays there are lots of traffic on this way and accidents also happen more often. In general it takes 2 hrs to pass express way but in this trip I took 4 hrs due to traffic in the Lonavala Ghat area. Also in the cities in Pune and Mumbai, we faced a lot of traffic jams.

Sorry, we could not find preference of Travellers for this route.
