A very awesome journey on the small tracks connecting Kalka to Shimla with the amazing views arriving after the Solan station and under passing through the 103 tunnels on the route.

We enjoyed a lot watching the beautiful scenery in our journey and really got entertained in the 5 hours journey.

Watching the tracks which we can cross in just one step was totally a new thing to our mind which enthusiast us more for our adventure.

All over the journey was very through the train just you need to be prepared for your food on your own and you must be enjoying the views in the journey

The journey was comfortable. We enjoyed the toy train ride. It arrives in the morning at Kalka and takes around 2 hours to reach Shimla. From Shimla you can take plenty of cars on hire to the hotel. You will love the train passing by small stations. The toy train also halts at an intermediate stations for a break. Do not forget to get down and enjoy the valleys but get back in the train as it does not stops long.
