Good seats are required as road is bad in this route

Feb 12, 2015
Mode of Transport: Bus

The Karnataka state government bus has not enough place to rest the legs comfortably. Need some more good seats since the road is bad. The motel where the bus stopped is not a good one. The department should do some more arrangements in this regard. It's a non stop but after crossing Tamil Nadu border it becomes like a local town bus.

A memorable journey

Mode of Transport: Car

One fine early morning we started our journey to Mysore for one of our dearest friends Wedding Engagement. Since we are coimbatore guys the very shortcut to reach mysore is via Sathyamangalam - Dhimbam - Mysore. At the dawn time around 5 am we started with our car, not exactly car its a cruize. Mitsubishi Cedia of my friend. Previously I had been in Mitsubishi Lancer and its my first journey in Cedia ever. The Machine was amazing. We started up in a moderate speed by enjoying the beauty of Morning. By 6 am we reached sathyamangalam via Bannari Temple - a famous goddess in our region. After that we entered into the hill station / forest "Dhimbam". It was a hub of all ferocious Leopards. Very sharp hairpin bends which is definitely a difficult task even for a experienced driver. My friend was driving and he never feel any difficulty and the exact and only reason behind it was " Mitsubishi - Cedia". At time we reached the wedding Hall. The trip was so convenient because of CEDIA. On the way we had a glimpse of Mysore Palace. After the function we visited Mysore Zoo, Chamundeshwari Hills, etc etc. That was a memorable trip with loads of Pictures and Fun.

Travelling by car to Mysore

Nov 7, 2013
Mode of Transport: Car

I love to drive the route was good via Sathyamangalam road to Charmrajnagar then Nanjangaud then reaching Mysore. Foods are available in sathy nd Charmrajnagar during travelling up to Tamil Nadu border roads are verry good but when entering in Karnataka roads are not good which creates problem for smooth driving Govt. Should think for good road to reach tourist place from Tamil Nadu.

Good & nice to travel with KSRTC

Sep 2, 2014
Mode of Transport: Bus

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) quality is good and all their buses are good and they are good in keeping up their timings and my first preference for a long distance route is always KSRTC Airavat as it is the best bus in KSRTC till now.

There are good and bad drivers but as of now in busses which I have travelled they got me safe to my destinations till now. So I prefer KSRTC as the best for those who are travelling towards Bangalore and Mysore.

We, started morning time from Coimbatore and we enjoyed our travel because on the way we saw some places like Pannari Amman Temple and there were 27 hairpin bends. Riding was such a good experience and weather was also good. We saw some wild animals on the road.
