Mode of Transport: Train

I would like to suggest the travelers to pick Tamralipta Exp. Because it departs Howrah station at morning, so then anyone can easily reach Digha within 10. 00 am.
Also this train departs from Digha at 10. 200 am. So in my view the time is manageable for all.

Howrah to Digha Travel By Duronto

Feb 2, 2017
Mode of Transport: Train

The Duronto has been renamed now as "Digha Super AC Express". It took only 3 hours during onward journey and 20 minutes more during return journey. Since it takes short spell, so I preferred it over other trains.
Food / refreshment and 1 bottle of mineral water are served in this train, so a traveler is not required to carry those items personally.
Toilets were clean and support of service staff war good.

Ideal early morning train

Jul 20, 2016
Mode of Transport: Train

This one departs Howrah Station at 6:40 am and reaches Digha by 10 am. If you can manage to get up early and catch this train then you have got a full day in Digha. Better book in advance, especially during weekend and holidays. There is a pantry car and they serve breakfast. The train is fairly punctual. I suggest AC chair car.
