Must Visist Varanasi

Mode of Transport: Flight

So I started my journey from Hyderabad (my work place) to Varanasi (my birthplace my favorite place :) and I was very happy as I was going after a long time and excited too because it was diwali.
I was super excited and so the flight crew members and so made it so memorable.
The decoration at Hyderabad airport was so amazing, I felt so good and started that diwali wali feeling.
All the crew members were very polite and food was awesome.
And here comes the Varanasi with all the enthusiastic people, Gangaji holy water(which is so holy and we should give our all effort to make it clean), you can feel the positive in the air of banaras.

An average flight

Jan 25, 2016
Mode of Transport: Flight

The flight journey started at morning 6, and we reached at 11 AM almost 5 hours, there is no provision of free/complimentary food and or even a cup of tea, instead heavy rates even if buy snacks, next time we do not travel by Indigo. Though the crew members are fine, this is not a direct flight it stops in Delhi airport for more than 45 minutes and above, keeping in view we are of the view better to opt a direct flight with the provision of complementary food.

Train Journey offers beautiful views

Nov 4, 2015
Mode of Transport: Train

It's a very long journey. It takes 28 hours approximately to reach our destination. Generally, the train won't run late. The seats were in a good condition. But the problem here is, the train will always be packed, especially the sleeper class. All the ticket holders of general class occupy seats in sleeper class. This makes the journey a bit uncomfortable. It is better to book a AC class.

The journey would be peaceful and you could see many scenic places in your journey. If you go with friends or family, you can enjoy a lot.

Terrible experience and worst flight

Aug 8, 2015
Mode of Transport: Flight

There is no suitable flight, because of we had to travel by IndiGo Airlines. No food, no Tea and or even at least a glass of water not offered by the crew members, the IndiGo Airlines staff felt that as if we are travelling in their flight on free of cost basis, it is most unfortunate we had no option, we like JET AIRWAYS flight which is very good for other amenities.

A memorable trip in holy city of Varanasi

Jul 5, 2015
Mode of Transport: Flight

I have visited the holy city Varanasi on 28th June with my family. From Hyderabad Airport it was a 4 hours journey to reach Varanasi. We have a very good experience travelling through IndiGo Airlines as the flight starts at 6:20 Am from Hyderabad and reached Varanasi at about 10:20 Am. Varanasi is a oldest city in the world with an amazing history of Hindu mythology. Visiting Kasi Vishwanath Temple is a great experience and with the blessings of Lord Shiva everybody gets peace and success in their life's. With my family I have visited this holy temple ( Jyothirlinga) on 28th June in full of rain. Every body can feel the sacredness of the temple surroundings. The temple priests are not allowed to touch the Shiva Linga. Adjacent to Kasi Vishwanathan Temple Maa Annapurneshwari Temple and on other side Kasi Visalakshi Temple (The Shakti Peetha) is worth visit.

Evening Ganga Aarti at Dasashawamedh ghat is a life time memorable experience.

Boating in Ganga River is an amazing experience, you can see all the ghat of Benaras, but better go for a boat ride in the morning or evening to avoid suffocation.
