I did not think that I could go to Tirupati in such a short time in our personal vehicle, the roads are very good with directions provided (except for one place where renovations of road was going on for about 50 km). On the way there are different pilgrim places such as MahaNandi(lord shiva temple), alampur jogulamba(Shakthi peet), kanipakam(lord ganesh)and much more.

A good drive

Jan 11, 2016
Mode of Transport: Car

I normally fond of cars, I completed this travel in 2 routes. While going to Tirupathi, I travelled via Kurnool, Nandyal, Cuddapah and Tirupati. Due to the recent rains the road between Cuddapah and Tirupati is completely washed away, it was one of the worst experience had. But while returning home, came through Naidupet, Ongole, Medarametla & Nalgonda. Especially this drive I have enjoyed a lot. The road was awesome, here and there the roads are washed away by rains, however overall it was a nice experience.

Overall it's ok not a bad journey

Nov 27, 2015
Mode of Transport: Train

Travelled in sleeper class and train was good. Need some cleaning for bathrooms and water was finished by the morning before reaching the station. Overall it's ok not a bad journey.

There is no pantry car, so you need to arrange the own food. Also train was delayed by 1:30 hours on that day (might be due to the coastal floods). But the return journey is good and we reached on time in Secunderabad.
