Kindly request not to travel in Ajantha Express, it is very slow and it runs on Deisel engine, Toilets and Compartments are untidy, cleanness and unhygienic(Because it starts from Manmad) they will not clean at all. when it starts from Hyderabad they will clean properly and start the train from Secunderabad. berths are not in good condition. Suddenly gives jerks while accelerating, with which people standing will fall down. While returning to Hyderabad, please do not prefer to this train. Please prefer Bus instead ... You can save time ... While going to Shiridi, it may be OK .
We have boarded the Sainagar Shirdi express from Secundrabad. We travelled in 2nd AC, This is the top class this train has .. This train is usually on time as it starts from Secunderabad itself. You do find 2nd AC as good as the other trains have, this has been recently launched and you need to adjust. We carried our food home so did not taste the food from train Pantry however food is available, limited varieties Egg Fried rice, Veg Biryani etc .. Toilets were OK
We started to "Shirdi" at night 9:00 pm from Hyderabad with my whole family by booking whole bus of Kesineni travels. The bus condition was good and the seats are also in very good condition and we booked AC semi sleeper bus for the travelling. We reached the Shridi at early morning 5:30 pm and the dhabas in between are well-equipped with good toilets and I recommend "Sai Dhaba" for food stop to have fantastic food with family.
Visiting a holy place like Shirdi is delightful and travelling with such a good travels is so relaxing and entertaining. The supporting staff of the travels are really helpful and the punctuality of the travels is really awesome even though there was a bit delay at pickup points. Even then the bus driver managed to drop us at exact time reported. The quality of the bus is really clean and good. I would definitely recommend to travel with this travels and visit such holy places.
I have traveled to Shirdi all alone to get blessing of god but I never forget this journey.
The train was very neat even with green toilet coaches. All along the journey we could find food items and drinking water facility. The train does not allow any food but other pantry or catering services will provide food on the go. During the journey I does not face any problems with co-passengers but faced problems with beggars. The train also provides charging point which are working good but in few trains they do not offer any charging points. Just in case we must carry power banks because there will be queue waiting for charging. I prefer for train journey because it is the safest means of transport and also we can sleep during the nights.
