Pathetic and weary Bus, rude Staff and Terrible arrangement

Oct 8, 2015
Mode of Transport: Bus

Let me summarize my journey with City Heart Travels in a sentence - City Travels without a hear. First of all, the journey took off in dirty shambles behind Ritz Cinema. I had booked Luxury Volvo AC Semi-Sleeper but they had normal AC bus from Tata and had painted Volvo on the window panes to appear as such. No I am not kidding but the travel agency had a bad taste for pun. They took more than an hour to start the journey waiting for their driver who nobody knew had dozed off where. The Bus was in extremely poor conditions much like dirty shambles.

The seats were broken and extremely uncomfortable. Window panes were struck half through. The AC was as good as non-functional.
And when the people complained about the poor condition of the bus, the operator rudely put everybody to their seats saying "You have booked the seats and not us. We did not beg you to book with us." The staff behavior was pathetic and one of them was even drunk.

You know the funny thing- the driver stopped at Anand Vihar ISBT at about 11PM and started shouting Nainital for alluring customers to fill in the vacant seats. Then people from other bus were merged into our bus. Finally, the bus started at 12:30Pm, much to the annoyance of the passengers.

The roads that lead to Nainital were good until we reached Rampur. From there till you enter Uttarakhand, its a nightmare. The potholes made the road and not the concrete.

I'd advice you all to please amiss this City Heart Travels.

Overall the experience was fine

Mode of Transport: Car

I was travelling from Delhi to Nainital. Overall the experience was fine. We got Petrol Pumps, places to eat, a flat tyre (got fixed on the way), cities on the way. Only pain was the 30-45 minutes drive along the Rampur & Kemri Village. It was full of huge pits & is surely gonna affect the Alignment of your Car.
