Good hotel to stay at reasonable price

May 29, 2015
Mode of Transport: Bus

Good bus, good staff, provided water at the start, stopped at a good place for dinner (Sukhdev Dhaba) and reached destination on time. I was charged only Rs 650 bucks since I was travelling only up to Kasauli while the bus was till Shimla, so it was good value for money too.

Overall, good journey.

I experienced a lot while I go out for some outing. I usually opt to drive by my own car. After driving through Zirakpur and passing Kalkaji, it is worth to enjoy each and every scene of nature. If you have children with you then own conveyance is the right option.

Mode of Transport: Car

The place comes under army area so had to keep every electronic item outside. The stairs are high but once you start you can reach on the top slowly. The monkeys unlike other places are calm. The view and weather were awesome. This is one of the peaceful sights with lots of monkeys around you gain height as you move up and the view from top is adorable, tough jammed during peak season days! Still the beauty is mesmerizing and this place is a must visit if you are on your visit to Kasauli.

Road is good with very few potholes, smooth and quick to navigate. Best time is to start early morning and enjoy your breakfast in the famous Dhabas located at Murthal. Had a two hours stay at Chandigarh. View of the Himachal starts after crossing Chandigarh. Climate is good.
