Road work is going on

Mode of Transport: Car

Road from Coimbatore to Chamrajnagar is good. 20 KM stretch from Chamrajnagar to Mysore is Bad. Entry point to Mysore district road is also bad & road work is going on. Road from Mysore to Madikeri is very good & only problem is they have many speed bumps on the highway without proper indication or signage, so drive carefully to avoid applying sudden brake's.

Coimbatore to Coorg by taxi

Sep 2, 2014
Mode of Transport: Taxi

We took the Airavat service of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) from Coimbatore to Mysore. From Mysore we went by Taxi (Devi Travels). The driver picked us at Mysore Bus Stand and dropped us back there after 4 days. It was a good onward trip from Mysore to Madikeri and an awful experience to reach Kakkabe (misty woods resort). While on return there was a stretch of road which was yet to be laid for quite some distance which caused some discomfort. Otherwise the trip was OK.
