Eight hours journey by bus

Jul 25, 2014
Mode of Transport: Bus

As I got free time, I decided to travel somewhere from Chennai. I searched in map and decided to go Namakkal. Both train and buses were available. I decided to go by bus. It was eight hours travel and I enjoyed a lot. I reached after eight hours and people of Namakkal are very nice. When I asked someone where to stay and eat, they helped me to find the cheap and quality food hotels as well as lodge. Next day morning I called a guide and he explained me about Namakkal and helped me visit many temples.

I like to drive. I was having a good time driving to Chennai cause the roads were good and it's a pretty long drive. There were many hotels on the way to relax and refresh. I would love to do it again sometime soon. And have a great time. So the overall experience was excellent and fun.

But long travel time for Namakkal to Chennai. It will take around eight hours from here, but finally I got good seat for sleeping. Near Chennai they parked for tea and rest for around ten minutes and after that they directly reached bus stand. Long hours journey is not good in bus.
