Long drive to religious place and roads less crowded

Jun 29, 2015
Mode of Transport: Car

200 Km drive from Chandigarh to Haridwar via Paonta Sahib - Nahan-Dehradun Express Highway. Beautiful road with less crowd. The two things you needs to check on this road:

1. driving at night came be a bit scary drive as there are very less surroundings along the road. So prefer to drive in the morning.

2. Not much eating joints found from Panchkula till Dehradun. So keep your bellies stuffed before driving on this road.

Train was late but reached the destination on time

Nov 18, 2014
Mode of Transport: Train

It was a good travel and I liked it still even if the train was late by 30 minutes. It went well as it was going at much speed and even reaches sooner than bus even after getting late. Train was good as I travelled in Ac coach. Coach was better and good enough for anything. I usually travel by this train to Haridwar.
