Well maintained train with good pantry cart

Nov 14, 2014
Mode of Transport: Train

The NAVJEEVAN EXPRESS is a nice train with sufficient stops to enjoy your journey, it has a good pantry cart also. Its well maintained and runs on time. We left Vadodara at 8:30 am reached Chennai the next day at 4:15 pm. We freshened up at the nearby lodge, just across the station. Then went to explore the city of Chennai. We went to the nearby temples and market. Its a pleasure to shop in Chennai, just the variety of things available is great. Then of course the great South Indian food at Sarvanna Bhavan. Went to room got things ready and checked out to board the Niligiri express (BLUE MOUNTAIN EXP ). This leaves Chennai at night so you board the train and wake up at Mettupalayam and catch the toy train right upto OOTY. A journey you can not forget.
