Mode of Transport: Bus

From Bangalore it is about 200 km. We get a government bus and private. We will get Andhra depo buses. Tamil Nadu buses also available. But I travelled in a private bus. It is about Rs. 180/- bus fare. Bus road is good. Finally I want to say if anyone wants to purchase a saree in Kanchi shortly, please go in buses of government only for safety purpose.

We always enjoyed the journey to Kanchipuram. We take Hosur - Krishnagiri - Vellore - Kanchipuram and one of the nice road I ever driven. Only the drawback is that, multiple Tolls and we end up by paying hefty charges. Overall, it is enjoyable journey with nice road, healthy/clean hotels and scenic locations.

Average bus operator and need to improve the facilities

People tell that KSRTC are comfortable but for long travelling I agree with that.

I went to Kanchipuram, the roads are straight. The drivers are driving in medium range. One more problem in KSRTC A/c after taking a long ride I face that it's A/C is not always constant as sometimes its feel very cold which one cannot handle, one more suggestion is that there must be air freshener available in a bus.

Overall, I want KSRTC people to look the problems and start working in it because if one paying heavy and receive nothing but worse than how its continuously work. It will stuck after a period of time.
