Scenic drive

Feb 27, 2016
Mode of Transport: Taxi

We were a family of 3 driving from Ahmedabad to Ambaji first to do darshan of Maa Amba before proceeding to beautiful Mount Abu in Rajasthan. The drive was smooth and easy with several petrol pumps along the way. You could choose to stop at a variety of hotels along the way for scrumptious meals. The air is clean and fresh. The drive is beautiful. The road uphill is windy and can make one nauseous so just be prepared for that. It is best to drive up or down the mountain during daylight as it is poorly lit and very windy. Lots of monkeys are seen along the way but it is illegal to feed them so be warned. The road is two ways and could take up to 30 minutes to climb. Have some nice music playing in the background to set the scene and once you are on top of Mount Abu just enjoy the crisp air and natural beauty all around.

This bus is very poor in quality and pickup time is very bad from station. There was noise from bus window. I decided I will not use Shrinath Travels again. No facilities like water and pillow, charging point. Also no any entertainment.

Good journey

Dec 2, 2015
Mode of Transport: Bus

We took the bus at 10.30 in the Night. So, we slept most of the travel. Ours was a sitting ticket. The driver was good, there is lots of Ghat travel. We reached around 6 in the morning. The Bus wallas did not give anything like blanket, tv, water. You need to carry everything on your own. Please make sure you ask for everything you might need/expect to get during the travel before booking for they provide nothing except the bus :D.
