Be careful of the attendants

Nov 9, 2014
Mode of Transport: Train

If you want to reach your destination on time and in reasonably good environment. Every time I travel in Khajurao intercity, 2 different attendants come to ask for money on the second day of the journey. They will make you feel guilty for services you have already paid through the ticket. If that doesn't work, then they will start avoiding you and behave rudely. They will only attend to people who pay them. For money, they will wake you up at night and keep giving you dirty looks if you don't pay them.

Average journey since the train was delayed

Mode of Transport: Train

I went Agra for celebrating the get together of our schoolmates. It was a horrible experience travelling in train, due to foggy and winter season the train was late and I reached Agra Cantt Station late. There was too cold in evening, approx 2 degree temp at midnight. The road in Agra were excellent.

Not so good not so bad

Mode of Transport: Car

Started at 7AM and about 3 hours travelling I reached my destination. It's actually more headachey and expensive by train than to take a single car up and down, because you have to arrange 3 separate cars if you go by train plus the drive times within each city. I would estimate the hotel-to-Taj Mahal transfer to be around 3. 5 to 4hrs depending on traffic.
