I have visited a resort in Coorg in the months of January 2017. I visited Coorg with my family. It was relaxation trip to this destination. Coorg was very good city & cool in nature I like the Madikeri. Hotel is the location as good & convenient. The ambiance was very nice & well hospitalized. The reception was very much helpful & accommodative. I booked my stay through online. Rooms were very old in condition & maintenance was a good. Service was good in serving us & they were very honest. Food variety was there & no much expensive. Complimentary food was good. Wifi facility was not available & no travel desk facility was there & there was bonfire facility in the hotel. It was the very comfortable hotel to stay & was good in accommodation.

I had been to this resort as a part of one of the family wedding. To the start with, the place is awesome for those who want to cut off from the busy city life and tight schedule. The resort is situated in a coffee estate and the ambiance is soothing. I stayed with ma family in one of the villa. It was comfortable for us. There was air-conditioned and the rest room had a bath tub as well. The food was great and with good hospitality. Also the little park, camp fire and the open restaurant added a more value. The only disadvantage is there is no way one can communicate with the reception from the room. You will have to walk to the reception for any requirement. Altogether, a great experience!! I would love to visit again for sure for a longer stay.
Our trip was during the New Year eve. Not many choices were available. Out of the limited choice, we planned to search for a resort, ambience surrounded by nature. Also, we were supposed to reach Coorg from Mysore and vice versa. So, we wanted to keep the distance optimum. Thus we struck at this property right amidst coffee plants. Just 2 hours drive from Mysore, we reached here. However, as per the cab driver's suggestion, we covered three sightseeing attractions on the way, saving time the next day. We checked-in late after going to Golden Temple, Cauvery Nisargadhama forest, and the Dubare Elephant Camp on the way. The resort ambience was encouraging as we drove through a narrow path laid between coffee plants. We had booked a family cottage for our family of four. The room interior was disappointing, like poor design of bathroom and toilet, improper plug points, only one proper double bed (the other two were small singles). The room was also pretty small. Though these things made us feel whether it was not worth the money, we felt compromised with the free parking, good food, pleasing staff, green surrounding with just the sounds of nature, well-planned swimming pool, the indoor games, the outdoor seating for dinner with music and bonfire, not to say the party dinner, dance, music and crackers on the December, 31st night. Can't forget the beautiful walk through the coffee estate guided by a staff who showed the coffee, pepper, orange and other specials of Coorg. Can't forget this trip for long. Management, please improve the room interiors.
We went Coorg for a group outing and this place is very good for stay. Pool and other indoor games are good and properly maintained. Good place for outdoor games with ride in coffee plantation. Staff is good and well mannered also friendly. Always ready to help and provide detail about place. Rooms are good and properly maintained. The main thing is food, which is good. If you are planning to go to Coorg then this is the good place to stay.

Coorg is a good place to visit. The hotel Coorg county resort is located little away from the city in the forest and it is a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The rooms are good, the food over there is also good. The staff over there helped us in knowing the places around. There are even other things like swimming pool, open air restaurant and camp fire at night. Overall its a good place to stay.
I visited this resort on the first week of December. Had a good experience at this place. The rooms were OK and could have been bigger. We hardly stayed in the room for few hours, so it didn't matter any ways. The swimming pool is really nice and pretty big. Overall, had a great time in it. The food was OK and I was expecting to eat some fish and mutton, but unfortunately there was only chicken available. So for dinner we went to a nearby restaurant and tried different food. The resort location is good and it was easy for us to visit different places from the resort.
